Fry them in butter. Works especially well with apple cider donuts from Atkins in Hadley. I used to let mine get stale for that reason.

Cell phones are really annoying here, they work in the metro and most of the underground city shopping mall but not in some stations and if you're on the train, it has to be moving.

Here the problems seem to be along the coastline the companies don't want to spend money sending signal out over the water

Last year kid had an accident with her bicycle on a bridge. She had quite some wounds on her leg and her bike was not the way it should be either. She could not call home. There is no signal at all on the bridge. If she had needed it she would not even have been able to call the emergency number.
Pretty weird, because accidents do happen to happen on that bridge.

Although the actual chances of a donut coming within my sphere of influence, and ever leaving it again in one [undigested] piece, are very slim indeed, I'll quite happily scarf an entire pack to myself, more than one, if I'm really hungry.

PA prefers stale cake doughnuts.  It's annoying to pay full price for something to get stale before he'll eat it.
