That's a very good answer, Calavera. Maybe the point of dualism makes more sense to those who don't experience that complete connection between body and mind.
are you a college professor?

She's only being nice to him, lest he trigger her ill with his mind.
calvera is brilliant.  He sky's the limit if he would just open his mind.
Misunderstood.

Or for people who need to be able to pinpoint good and evil, clearly divided from one another.

In my opinion people who argue against, any belief without providing evidence for there argument makes them just as "foolish" as people arguing in favor of. simply saying there is no evidence is not proof of your argument

If you're referring to me, I actually did provide evidence that our body is all we have. You seem to think that evidence equates to proof, but it isn't. It's really hard (if not impossible) to prove anything.

I definitely agree. The way to becoming a healthy skeptic is to only open your mind to things that are backed up by conclusive evidence. Opening your mind to shit turns it to shit. :zoinks:

I wasn't referring to you. It was just a general statement to everybody, and you just contradicted yourself. if you prove the body is all we have, then how can you prove anything?

My comments were more of keeping an open mind. Once you start saying something isn't real, and offer no proof of it not being real then that means your mind just got a little bit smaller. Of course some scientific methods can measure things, that are real. and I'm not saying everything has to proven to be real. Just how funny it is when somebody thinks they know everything,  :hyke:

If I say it isn't real, it is up to you to prove it is.
If I say it is real, then it is my job to prove it.

If I can't see it, it is not.
Misunderstood.
