Mother's Day New Orleans shooting

At least  12 people in New Orleans were injured on Sunday when multiple gunmen opened fire on a Mother’s Day parade, police said.

One of the victims was a 10-year-old girl who was grazed by a bullet and is in good condition, police said. Another person sustained an injury as parade members ran from the gun fire.
None of the injuries are expected to be fatal.
Authorities saw three people running away from the scene after the shooting. At least one suspect was described as a man between ages of 18 and 22.
New Orleans Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas said there may have been as many as three shooters, and that two different types of weapons were likely used.
The victims were marching in what is known as a second line parade, common in New Orleans: A brass band plays while marching in the streets, while a “second line” of people follows the band, celebrating.
Serpas said the parade was just a few blocks long.
“These are unusual circumstances. We have second lines which occur in the city of New Orleans virtually every weekend at this time of the year,” said Serpas.  “We had a full complement of police officers. It appears that these 2 or 3 people just for a reason unknown to us, started shooting at towards, or in the crowd. It was over in just a couple seconds.”
Misunderstood.

I'm not sure why this made the national news.  Although we're not as bad as one of the years before 2005 with over one killing a day, shooting at random is fairly common.

There is a wee bit of light at the end of the tunnel.  About a year ago there was a similar incident with much worse consequences.  A woman about 2 blocks from the shooting was killed by a stray bullet and a 5 year old girl was killed at the scene of the shooting, a birthday party.  The DA and Police Chief announced 15 or so arrests this week of clans.  They're going to be prosecuted under various charges involvement before and after the crimes, racketeering, etc.  These criminals are responsible for over a dozen murders.

The black community that these crimes and criminals hurt are finally getting fed up and are giving information to the police.

A small bit of justice, yes. But the next thing to work on is keeping weapons out of the hands of insane people, and find out whats making them insane. *cougheconomyguncontrolsocialjusticecuntsforeigncororateintrestssodomizingthegovernmentCOUGH*

Backgrounds checks is how they fool you. That is the kind of reaction that they want. Breivik had both his guns completely legally.

The real psychopaths will always be in the governments, as long as governments exist. As long as you want the right to own guns you will have innocent people getting killed. What you must think of is that what the psychopaths in the government could do to an unarmed people is a million times worse. That is the perspective one must have.

This is what happens when a society is being stripped of its rights whilst being force-fed fear, bigotry and xenophobia and encouraged in its warring culture and gun culture. an unhealthy obsession with guns.
Just makes sense that this kind of thing will happen more and more.
If things evolve, next will be suspension of parades and things and then more shut in policies.
Then communities encouraged to stay together and become more suspicious of what outsiders from other communities are doing "sniffing around their neighbourhood"
Then all hell will break loose.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.
