Did they ever make peace with Gareth's parents? I still remember reading the angry website his parents set up with Aspie-Knee years ago.

By the way, the reason I'm interested is because I also had a difficult relationship with an older aspie partner and I found a lot of similarities in my relationship issues and theirs. I'm not involved in any fights with them or anything. In fact I barely ever spoke to them. So not asking for spies or anything.

I don't believe Gareth went to jail. That article was from 2014, no mention of charges or jail time for Gareth on the bitinstant Wikipedia page:

I really do like her and and wish her well.  We got along on FB and it saddened me when he disappeared from it.  But, now I can understand a bit more of what happened.  The turmoil of all that stuff going thru must have been too much at the time.  I can only hope things are a lot more peaceful now.
