Is the universe a giant organism?
« on: May 09, 2013, 12:05:02 AM »
Is the universe a giant organism, and we are a mere facet of it's existence...our lives in this solar system perform some function...

What if we are consciously existing on several different planes at once, but our attention can only focus on one thing at a time, so when we are in this dimension we forget our existence in another. But when we switch to another, we forget our existence here.

What if our ideas and dreams are echos from that other dimension...our multi-planal existence mingling in our subconscious? Can we die in one plane and continue living in another?

What if when we die, we simply resume activities in another dimension, having no idea what happened? What if every time we fall ill, one of our other lives just died?

Anything is possible. We can never know for sure.
Can't you guys even just imagine it?

Forget practicality, or your experience....can you just....imagine?

It's there. It always was.

It's a cool thought!

Just imagine the adventures we would be host to after we die?! What if snippets of our day actually made up parts of our dreams in another plane?

What if...there was a way to merge the experiences, or to travel between them at will with full awareness of each plane...  :apondering:

Would bet you write fantastic poetry, sg.

What if our ideas and dreams are echos from that other dimension...

That's just beautiful.

Thanks  :green:

Btw, I have been meaning to ask, why is your karma always around 0? It never goes too negative, nor too positive. Is this something you do on purpose, or are you just a guy that everyone tends to be ambivalent about?

No philosophy, those creepy little karma messages freaked me out in the beginning, both giving and receiving; would rather people just respond in the threads even if just to laugh. There's the ability to be karma free here and tried that, but found out it worked by maxing out my karma so put me at the top of both karma stats lists and some didn't like that. So people just leave it alone, except for the new person now and then, and of course, semicolon. Cousin and sometimes others are kind enough to keep him in check.
