My mind wonders about the little things like what did they talk about, did they ever squabble, were they tied up all the time?

They were kept in separate rooms most of the time

Whenever I read stuff like this, I wonder about what effect it had on their brain development, and if they will have peculiar psychological issues. Especially the little 6 year old.

I wonder same thing.   Also, did the child have nappies (diapers?)  or toys, or baby food.  Was she kept clean,  what did she wear,  can she talk.   Were they aware of christmas...or birthdays

Reports where that at first they were kept chained in the basement, then later locked behind a door on the second floor.

The oldest Michelle Knight helped to deliver the baby in a kiddie pool. Michelle Knight had a "mental condition" and was legally an adult, she had recently lost custody of her son, so no one really ever searched for her thinking she ran away on her own...she reported to have suffered 5 miscarriages at the hands of her captor and is still in care.
