yes, now that I know that a urchin is a term of endearment or a boy.  Mine is 6 years old.
He had a pop cycle stick and two pennies in his picket.

Aaaaw bless!  mine is 6 too.   Contents of pockets on little boys trousers are often overlooked. 

In Victorian England they started sending urchins to work at about 6 years old.  Chimney sweeping etc.   Also, during illegal gambling games thy used to pick one of the street urchins for a special job.  They had to sit through the whole game and if the police turned up it was their job to swallow the dice.
