People just take for granted how basic we really are, and I don't blame them for it. People allready cry about "being monkeys", imagine how they'd cry to be told they are just atoms put together in an intricate system of chemical reactions.

The reactions are compulsory, and the basis of life can be seen in precisely enzymes. They are molecules that - involuntarily - react in contact with other chemicals. The reaction is hard coded, and will not budge. That is why life manages to stay as "forceful" as it is - it will not budge, because the reaction is hard coded, compulsory and chemical.
When we breathe, we immediately interact with the atoms around us, and we take part in it.

Even our precious self-awareness is nothing but hard coded, involuntary molecular events. Self awareness isn't even all that magical, if you think about it. It lets you know that you are there. Okay, now what?

I wish I could live forever.
I'd watch everyone I know die, and be sad for like 3 months or something, and then I would have eternity to explore!
fuck yall!

You'd think people would be relieved to know they were apart of something larger (i.e. nature), rather than feeling pressured to preserve, sanctify, and perfect human consciousness. One of the main motivations behind Elon Musk's SpaceX space exploration is to preserve the legacy of humanity...I found that a silly reason to want to explore.

Me, when I die, I hope I am tripping and think I am flying into the eagle nebula.

They enjoy being part of nature, but not real nature. They like magic-nature, from magic-reality. Where trees can talk, people have souls, animals are benevolent and believe in Jesus, etc etc etc

People are very eager to reject real reality. You see peoples reaction towarda atheism for example, they misinterpret it as a loss, a loss of joy, a loss of magic and spirit, etc

For instance, I doubt that a nebula would look like that once you are inside it.
Similar to being in fog, you would probably be able to observe the far "background" of each direction - but immediately around you would be the same old nothing as always. If you accept that still - then you are truly ready for the nebula! :D

One thing I'm curious with nebulae is that their brightness comes from dispersed plasma,

I am curious what this is like, "up close", if we're talking asteroid sized rounded balls of flame, as if near magnified vapor particles or something. I really have no clue there

I do think trees can talk. Maybe not like humans do...but if plants respond to music (for instance), they must have some communicative ability. And they do.

Thing is...I think people don't know how to explain what they feel in their heart, so they use religion and a magic...but that somehow separates the experience from reality, and then it become twisted...its weird. Love is important, but people then relegate it to God and think if we cage it in a church we can live off of it without having anything to do with nature- which is then defined as "wild".

Can't you guys even just imagine it?

After rigorous training and meditation, I am finally ready. Ready for the nebula. I shall now take my vows and plunge.

lol

EDIT: One of the reasons I like having synesthesia, it because it feels like when I see nebula shit when I listen to certain songs.

I like defining love as also meaning "fascination" because when you are fascinated, you tend to care about something enough to watch and learn from it. And if you learn from it properly, you will develop respect (which is also a form of love), and so you will make sure there is a place in nature for the object of fascination. Hence, why in many cultures there are rock formations in acknowledgment of the heavens. Because they are fascinating.

I think an asteroid smashing into the planet and murdering us all would be a glorious way to go out. Hopefully there will be enough organic life to start a new range of eco systems. And if you live forever you can watch a new planet of "aliens" develop.
