Barbarians. You didn't note my comments about what coffee might have been called by the Romans or that the English verb go has a wider meaning than its cognates in other Germanic languages  :thumbdn:

Perhaps you should start a separate thread all about Latin and cognates and the ancient Romans and
vomitoria language matters of interest, for those of us who can undertand.  I confess I am not able to keep up.  :tard:

What "coffee" would have been called by the Romans holds no interest to me, OTOH.

It held no interest to the Romans either.  :zoinks:

Because they were  :viking:

Maybe I should start drinking just wine instead, like a real Roman  :wine:

AA meetings have pretty good coffee.

That's cool.  According to every TV cop show I have ever watched, police stations have lousy coffee!  :police:

But seriously, you don't use knulla that way in Swedish. You say (as you can also say in English) dra åt helvete  ;)

You can handle lousy coffee. That requirement of your new job you can meet without a problem.

Helvete intrigues me because one of the most beautiful fonts in use today is Helvetica.  :orly:
