As always, coffee tastes great, but it doesn't do a thing to get me more active.

Doesn't activate me any either. Sometimes I will have some coffee right before bed.
Me too. Coffee before sleeping is not a problem at all.
When I have a serious lack of sleep, and drink a lot of coffee, then it does seem to have an effect. I can get jittery and shaky then. Does not help me get more focused or awake though. But, that happens only rarely. Think the last time that happened when I was having driving lessons. So, a very long time ago.
