Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

It felt like that after my laser surgery in 1991. I know how that feels too.
Chronic conjunctivitis is one of the things I am dreading. I'm now in an on and off blepharitis stage of my rosacea. Conjunctivitis is probably next in line. Not looking forward to long term use of oral antibiotics. But, I am still in the clear. Just living with a chronic sand in my eyes sensation.

This is different. It feels more like acid in your eye.

Are they sure it is bacterial conjunctivitis?I think so.There is still some swelling after the surgery, but there is also scarring. That latter causes difficulties lubricating the eye normally and so provides the bacteria with a nice home. Hence conjunctivitis and renewed swelling.I'm told that they can remove some of that scarring with another operation. It's been done to others in my situation.
