TV
« on: April 05, 2013, 08:16:34 AM »
I have noticed I am watching less and less over the years now it's on mostly as just a background type thing while I am on my laptop.  I have always done other things while watching tv rarely just watching  the internet has just made it so much easier and interesting.  I was wondering about how other feel about tv and how long will it be before they merge completely?

Dude, have you ever watched: Starage Wars.
They have a California, a New York and a Texas version on the A&E channel.

Being interested in unusual parts I think it would be right up your wheelhouse.
Misunderstood.

Yes I love that show not always that realistic though I could and probably will start a thread on that one latter.  Even when watching that though I feel compelled to have the internet up in front of me to look up stuff or just make it past the boring bits,  I have always been this way though I always watched tv with a book or something else to help occupy myself through those parts.

Really?  Are you sure?

I was hoping to sell the orange peel I found at the storage place for at least $100.  You've crushed my hopes.

I think I am going to cancel my cable service.  I seldom watch TV, and so many shows (and movies)
are available on disc to watch on my computer.  I would save a lot of money this way.  8)

Have never been much of a tv watcher and have gone years without. Last Halloween was the only time sitting in front of the tv in at leas two years; watch a documentary about the giant crystal cave while handing out candy to trick or treaters.

I don't watch much TV. I much prefer DVD and, recently, streaming content from the interwebz.

It was good. Likely not too many undiscovered world wonders like that left to find.

PA doesn't get interested in a series until it goes into syndication.  He's recently found Bones.

That just reminded me. Found a zombie tv show on Netflix; watched the whole thing on the computer. Never knew tv has zombies.

Also watch a movie now and then. Computer and tv; not sure if movies count as watching tv.

Watching TV is watching what they broadcast, including movies.
