I use pumps, usually filled with slightly watered-down dishwashing soap.

I grew up with bar soap.  My mother saved scraps of bar soap in a jar, intending to melt them together
to make a big new bar
.  Ewww.  Finally my brother threw away the scraps, they were all dried-out and brown.  :P

My grandmother did that.

One of the reasons I like the foamy stuff is that I have sensory issues with the liquid but I force myself with that.  I hate lotions of all kinds also.  I used to get powdered hand cleaner but the brand I liked went out of business

You big spaz, Parts  :P

Having said this, i can not handle the feeling of dirt or grease or the like on my hands or under my fingernails or in my hair....at all. I ironically do not mind outdoor or physical work. Pair or gloves on and I will put my hands to pretty much anything.

I know, I know, so who is the bigger spaz?
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

We all are the biggest spazzes in our own way :green:
Dirt under the nails is the worst which is why mine are always very short.  I dislike gloves and only wear them when I really have too.

I am a queen spazz.  I wear vinyl or woven gloves whenever possible to
avoid contaminating public surfaces with my (barely visible) flat warts.  :autism:

Those little hotel bars of soap are handy.

Yesterday I took a shower in the home of my aunts friend....a stranger to me.

He got me one of those hotel bars and told me I could throw it away when I was done.  I told him, "I see your point.  Will do."
Misunderstood.

Am I the only one to have sensory issues with bar soap. Maybe there are brands that feel less repulsive to me than the ones I tend to encounter at hotels but I can't stand any of the ones I've tried. When I was staying in Prague in February they had a horrible brand and I had to track down a store that was open late to buy liquid soap.

I can't even begin to describe the awfulness of the sensation of bar soap in my hands.

I use both depending on what takes my fancy. Though nothing beats soaping up your bum crack with a nice slippery bar in my opinion.

They are slippery at first but then that sensation changes, always. ::shudder::

:LMAO:

No, I didn't think of that. I thought of my hands and the feel of that bloody soap. Not that I'm denying anything but NOT with bar soap. :P

I thought this thread would be about something else.

Bars of soap are yukky.  Liquid soap or gel is best.

blah blah blah

Bar soap. Didn't realize I was such a traditionalist.  :P

Dawn often approaches through hazy clouds, or maybe because of them, or even despite them..

  ;)

Luffa is the way to go, if you are not too sensitive. (Honestly, I NEED the harshness, most  of the time ...:yikes:)

Bar soap. I leave hairs in it and pee on it to mark it as mine.  :doggie:
