  I think so too.  Popes are expected to die in office, however old or sick they are.

  But the old Pope will no longer  BE  Pope, therefore no such event can occur.

I haven't heard anything that claims it specifically, but he had some major surgery recently. Also, have you had a look at the guy?

As Pope Private Parts adviser I will urge him to kill the old todger should he get mouthy in retirement.
