Woke up at 1 in the morning not being able to fall back asleep.
Going to see an apartment now. Then off to work with psychobitch, trying not to strangle her. To avoid doing this I will see to it that we are never alone or else I might be too tempted.

I just planted some basil seeds in a pot with light soil and covered the top with a piece of glass. Hope in, dunno, two months time I'll have my own fresh basil.

Went grocery shopping for mom & myself.
Put groceries away.
Scared away the Jehovah's.
Mowed the lawn.
Made pizza.

Here's the story behind the accident.  PA walked from McDonald's and was waiting on the New Orleans side of Elise ready to cross onto our street.  An ambulance put on its siren and turned onto the next street over (one block North of ours.)  Everyone was at a standstill waiting for the ambulance to clear when PA decided to cross the street.  Well the pick-up truck waiting at the stop sign on our street turned onto Elise going North as PA was crossing.  Somehow the extended rear-view mirror on the driver's side hit PA on the left side of his head, sent his glasses flying and sent him to the ground.

PA was so angry that he told the guy to "Get the hell out of here, before I beat the shit out of you."  So the guy left (Gee, I wonder why?).  PA only knows what the guy looks like and that it's a black pick-up, but he didn't get the license plate number.

The clinic cleaned up the scrapes on his elbow and palms, gave him a tetanus shot, and x-rayed his head (he has a nondisplaced fracture through the lateral wall of the left orbit).  Recommended to contact an ENT for possible CAT scan follow-up.  Tylenol, ice and rest for the first 24 hours, pain pills as needed after that.

He couldn't find his glasses, but after we came home from the clinic I found the glasses on the grass at the corner with one lens lying about 2 feet away.  He put them back together.

We called the sheriff's office and made a report after we got home from PSO, just in case. 

And that was how the first 3 hours of my day went.


Wow. I'm glad that he wasn't seriously hurt.

Air sealed then blew insulation into an attic it was unbearably hot probably about 120F had to take two half our breaks

Was lazy in the morning, just got gas for the car and had the lens put back into his glasses.  This afternoon I took Prince Albert to have his eye checked to make sure the accident hadn't done something to his lens implant (cataract surgery).  His eye pressure is up, so we have to go back in 2 months to have it checked since the medication's being changed.

He's getting a "dirty" eye, on the way to black.  Feeling okay physically, although he cringed every time a car got too near ours.

Snored, woke up from crazy indian calling me. Got irritated, had a gulp of coke, saw that I got my period, was too tired to clean up and put in a tampon. Decided to just....not get dressed quite yet and....let it flow, as they say. (It's not flowing. That was a joke.)

I went to the spazz meeting at the M.I.N.D. Institute last night. I had a good time there. One guy there doesn't grasp why he can't hold a job, being told repeatedly to shut up provides no clue to him that he talks way too fucking much. Oh well, if he is unwilling to learn it is not my problem.
