Hey, I didn't shy away today.. and yeah, she is really cool and.. as tall as I am. Well, we just talked for a bit and she's quite..

Also rode my bike for a bit and just stayed under the sweating like an otter level (which is good). Showered twice, ate okay food and got me a bottle of wine.

Got lost on Youtube a lot also today and gave the garden some water. You know, it's exceptionally dry (Holland, at present, going without rain for over a month now).
Tjha, did some other things as well..
Sounds like a pleasant day. :)

Spent over an hour working in my garden. Talked to a guy I don't know (wanted to meet his dog, actually) who is a lawyer and lives one street over. Got the scoop on the neighbourhood and actually made random chit chat for over 15 mins.  :asthing:

I was totally in it for the dog though. Cute 12 year old Yorkie named Fudge. Don't remember the guys name though. :P

No, not church!  :zombiefuck:

Yup, church. I'm pretty sure it won't last but her confirmation is in a week's time.

Does your faith have the confirmant choose a confirmation name like the Catholics?

No. Thankfully.

I unfortunately opened my mouth and insisted repeatedly that I wanted my Mom's confirmation name.  She said I didn't.  She was right.  It is Euphrasia.  My athiest sister chose Mary Magdalen.

I think that Euphrasia is a pretty unique name.

It's the name of a herb commonly called eyebright:

I definitely prefer the plant.  St. Euphrasia was one of those boring virgins who led an aescetic life.

Got up early
Did a 5k for breast cancer awareness
Took the kid to a puppet show
Went to three stores to do the next 2 weeks of grocery shopping
Drove to 4 separate places trying to get a duplicate key cut for my new car - still no go
Had an image burned into my retina whose faint shadow is even now causing me distress
Went to a friend (of my wife's) kids 4th birthday party / barbecue
Relaxing now for the first time today

Flew back to SFO from San Diego. I should have been back by noon but my flight was delayed by over an hour and then the Airporter bus had to drive slower than usual because of the same high winds that caused my flight to be late. C'est la vie.

I saw that.  I think she died at 30.

Woke up and made coffee. Started up the laptop. Posted.

Went to the shops for a while, came home and cleaned up the house for mum, gave her her mothers day present when she got home from work.

Dealt with constant meltdowns from monkeyboy thanks to stuff his Dad did the day before
Had a heart to heart with monkeygirl who told me she wants two parents who are together so she doesn't have to miss one parent so much when she's with the other.  :-\
Lots of crying. Me and the monkeys
Worked in the garden
Watched a movie with the kids
Talked to my Mum
Trying to find some balance right now. Energy is all over the place.

I went to SF and walked a few miles on the waterfront and had fish and chips at a place that was good and inexpensive.
