Researching obstetricians as I despise our last one.

Shouldn't your wife have a say in this?

Since she was the one that was nearly killed by her last OB, she despises her even more than I do.

Holy shit. What happened?

Both of my pregnancies were complicated from beginning to end. My first, I had a team of 7 doctors to try and get me to full term.

She was 25 minutes late showing up for the c-section.  25 minutes after the spinal had been given and her BP dropped to 60/30.  25 minutes after my son's vitals dropped to crap.  He was born purple with an APGAR of 1, had to be intubated and spent a day in the NICU.  I guess it is more honest to say that she almost killed my son, and the anesthesiologist was the one who almost killed my wife.

Sounds like monkeyboys start to the world. Except his complication was that he came at 33.5 weeks and was born not breathing. I didnt have a CS though. Went into early labour.

Make spaghetti for dinner
Found a great source for a math program I want to use with monkeyboy
Had a good chat with my Mum

Woke up to asshole behaviour on behalf of the ex
Heard monkeygirl fall down the stairs (she's okay)
Saw her off to school
Dealt with screaming monkeyboy for hours on end
Tried to do my morning pages
There went 4 hours of my day.
Currently in bed spending an hour to myself since he's finally engaged in something.

Finally had the time to do some really needed big shopping with the girls. Did some preliminary shopping yesterday, knowing it could not all be done in one day. Oldest loved to be on her own, youngest loved to come with me. Today we got almost everything on our list. Had both girls with me. They love shopping. Especially shoes and clothes...... I survived.

Looked back on what I spent today. MASSIVE. Kind of satisfying to know that I could do that without big worries. That has been very different for a long time.

Replaced light bulbs at my fathers condo got headache on the way back and napped

Worked on negotiating a car purchase with several dealerships and lenders via email.

They hate me for making them do it via email, but I hate them for selling cars for a living.
