Dishes
Tidied up
Took the kids for a long bike ride down to the pond to watch the swans and ducks
Took monkeygirl for a second bike ride, just the two of us to play at the park
Fed the kids
Studied my questions for the people I have to interview tomorrow
Picked up my meds from the drug store
Currently in bed with a headache but a snuggly kitty makes it all better

Very boring day at the polls.  We were open for 14 hours and only had 87 voters.

That answers the question I just asked you in another thread.

Nothing much. Wrote some of my report. It is on ADHD and treatments for it. I had to come up with an experiment and then make up data so that the results of the experiment were significant statistically.

There is no way my experiment could happen in real life, it is just too far out. So my tutor will probably be amused when he reads my report.

What experiment did you design?

Yes, I'm intrigued as well, I want to know about this "far out" experiment!   :nerd!:

It is on adolescents with ADHD. Got 90 of them all just newly diagnosed with ADHD. 30 of them receive medication treatment, 30 others receive academic intervention and 30 more get both treatments. Then after six months of these treatments we look at their final scores for English class (I didn't do more subjects otherwise that would have made my experiment too hard for me to interpret and write the results for).

Results showed that those receiving both treatments got higher English class scores than those who received either treatment alone.

It isn't really in keeping with previous studies that show similar experiments don't really make a difference in scores and medication is superior to therapy (in my experiment academic intervention was superior to medication alone - don't know how that happened, it was just a result that came about from the raw data scores I put in).

I'm in no way qualified to comment on data, but it does make sense to me that both treatments would work better than either alone.  :chin:

Yeah that is what I thought when I came up with the experiment.

Tidied up the druggy's mess, had an argument and then showered and got dressed. Now I've to go give her money for her drug habit. :grrr:
