Phoned the doctor's surgery and got a same-day appointment.  Went to the doctor and was prescribed a proton-pump inhibitor and was told to make an appointment with the nurse to have a blood sample taken.  The nurse was fully booked for the whole of next week, but when I told the receptionist that it was to test for Helicobacter pylori, she decided it was important enough to squeeze me in that afternoon and I saw the nurse about 5 minutes later.

Yesterday I was at my friends house, having too much roséwine, and when I went home the bus never showed up so I had to walk home trough Rape Alley drunk, wearing amongst other things a short skirt and garterbelt = gagging for rape.

Had a 3 mile walk on the waterfront. The Napa river was very low, even by low tide standards. I don't like that, if the Napa river and San Pablo Bay get too low it may fuck things up for the Harbor seals.
