Went to the cemetery to see my Nanna's new plaque and my mum put flowers there. Then went to the shops where my parents bought some plants and we all had a hot dog. Then came home and watched an episode of V. Now on the internet.
This is what I remember my Grandma with. She made me this Afghan shortly after I helped her with genealogical research for the first book she wrote of our family history, about 22 years ago. She made it good, it is still in great shape.

That's a beautiful afghan, PPK.
My grandmother belonged to a quilting circle and made me a quilt. She actually made one for each of her grandchildren gave me mine early because I was just about to have my wisdom teeth cut out. Unfortunately, she later developed Alzheimer's and when she moved into the house in my uncle's back yard so he could help look after her, the quilts were not distributed to the other grandchildren.
