Worked 12 hours, bought $10 in lottery tickets and bought bagels and pastrami.

Went to GA's for a while, went to the shops and got cat food, came home and did a load of washing. My mum and stepdad are coming home from their holiday tomorrow and if mum sees that I left her my washing to do, she wouldn't be too happy.

Hung washing out on the line, had lunch and now posting on here.

I know.  :green:

But this time is an exception because I am thinking she will bring lots of washing to do home from their holiday.

It was the first time I used her washing machine and I didn't break anything so I am relieved it is done.

I guess I am lucky in this respect because my mum's washing machine is quite similar to mine that is at GA's. Still felt a bit anxious about it though.

Time to ask for instructions Soph. One day you will have to do your own laundry. Starting supervised isn't such a bad thing.
Apart from throwing in too much cleaning detergent, there is not much that can go wrong with the machine, and when you don't program the temperature too high, your clothes will survive too.

Spent most of the day chasing bugs. :P

With a butterfly net?   :blonde:

I wish it had been that simple. Software bugs are not that easily traced.

You should leave the bugs intact. They build character. :P

I very carefully made my way over the icy sidewalk to the curb with my bags of trash.   :viking:

Overslept 45 minutes, but, had kids in school in time.
Making phonecalls because, oldest lost her bus-pass. Services for lost items are no good.  :-\
Washing, getting trash outside, bin was full
chat, work, change, and hop on the bus to pick up the oldest.
While I was there, we decided to get her some clothes. So, one single hour of  very successful shopping. Even my youngest has a new outfit, and I have some nice little things for her birthday too. We were  :viking:
Now having a short break. About to think up and make a dinner.
