My dad used to have a burn barrel like that. 

My grandmother had a big concrete circle to burn things in. It was her dirt-heap, and once in a while it would be set on fire. More farms around where she lived had that 40 years ago.
My dad has a barrel, but he is not good in settling for small.  Think it is twice as high as the one in the picture. Roars nicely when packed with stuff burning.
I have the old drum of a washing machine, for fun fires.

Woke, fed and motivated kids out of the door,
Put the bin outside,
Mowed the lawn and raked it. Swiped the pavement clean.
Packed my return mail in plastic after doing the needed paperwork, and put it outside.
And posted here a while, while having my tea.

Time to go and climb MtFoldmore. And measure what size shelves I need. Break has been long enough now.

Went to three different shops for food shopping and handled it surprisingly well. Came home and did two loads of washing and am now on here and studying. Freaking out about the exam tomorrow.

Rammstein use a lot of firey stuff in their shows. you could feel the warmth from it while you were standing there. one of the best nights of my life

My dad actually had a concrete foundation for his burn barrel that was like Parts'.  We sorted our trash into burnable and not burnable and we smashed our aluminum cans for recycling long before it was cool to recycle, so we usually only had one bag of trash for the week that needed to be picked up by the trash truck.  I did a project on solar energy heating a doll house in sixth grade and my dad made a solar water heater for our roof as a preheater for our gas water heater, so we continued to have hot water at night but the burners didn't have to heat the water much at all in the daytime.

Applied for jobs and did some laundry.   I also called some friends that I have not spoken to in a while.
