The voices in Swedish cartoons usually sound like they belong to arch-nerds. It is like they made a real effort to make them sound as stupid as possible.  :thumbdn:

The better the cartoon, the better the dubbing it seems here. As if for quality there is the obligation for quality voices too.

The other dubbing makes me almost hate my own language though. Sounds absolutely horrible and stupid.

They usually speak with a Stockholm accent (which is pretty hated in many parts of Sweden, not least here in western Sweden) and it's supposed to sound "cool" but it just sounds nerdy.  :thumbdn:

Most of them are truly awful. Some older Disney films are fine, though. Well, it's either that or I've grown used to them after a gazillion shows.

I worked (it was a half day due to it being Patriots' Day), came home, and am putting off doing the :laundry: while I post!

Patriots' Day forgot about that one.  I don't think we get any state specific holidays off here

I think trash collection is delayed one day here, which gives me an extra day to bag up junk! :headbang2:

I took a test, smoked weed, watched the move "Kick Ass", and introduced a friend to a new weed hook-up (new for him, old source for me).
