I love flea markets. I look for old hand written diaries. I have one written by a 17 year old girl who left England to sail for New York in the 1800's and she had the same name as me (which isn't a common name). I need to hit them up again in the spring.

Once the ex moves out I'm going to redecorate with a lot of second hand cool stuff. Wonder how much time I'll have to refinish pieces. :chin:

I love second-hand bookshops.

There was an awesome flea market in Amsterdam but my mum didn't let me hang around for long  :(  You'd probably like Portobello Market and Camden Town over here in London  :laugh:  My college is right next door to the first one  8)

That sounds cool.  I sell at them.  What I like is you never know what you will find.  The one today was like one step below the one I sell at but it goes all year

Fixed the fridge door.  The MDF facade on it was hitting and levering against the facade on the neighbouring cabinets, and the fridge wasn't closing properly, so I planed an edge of it to give it more space when opening and closing, and made some wooden wedges to lift the fridge a bit and hold it steady.  Also worked on some shelves for the garage, since at the moment everything in it is heaped on top of everything else or dangling from nails on the walls, and I'm sick of having pitchforks and rakes fly towards my face whenever I try to retrieve something.

Had what turned out to be a really fantastic day.  Initially quite tense and ultimately weird as all fucking fuck, but ultimately hilarious and pretty awesome.
