Got up too early and drove a couple hours, then went back to bed with my laptop and did the usual rounds of forums. Nothing interesting.

I feel like shit, without any obvious cause except the slow inevitable march of entropy.

I want to encounter something brilliantly admirable.

I would say, "Hello,"  but that seems a bit presumptuous of me.

I don't know yet. The universe is a pretty big place and I have a feeling that if I set out an itemized list, I'd be missing out on all the good stuff I don't know about yet.

I need to get out more, and get past this ennui to develop a state where like could call like.

I just happened to be the first to see your post, I guess, and I made the obvious joke.

I've been doing the Virginia Reel, today, with columns of unrelated numbers. My sense of humor has probably become random, as well.

Posted on this board, gave our cat Puma his pain meds and flea killer (Frontline) and wondered how I'm going to make the $ I need to make in this turkey burger economy. All while listening to Joy Division.

BTW, the original wording in this post implied that I was trying to figure out how to make $ while listening to Joy Division. Which would be about the coolest gig ever. Any ideas?

DJ'ing comes to mind, but it's been ages since I've done any and it was all at college. Plus I have no equipment, and can't afford any right now. But it's a thought--if not in clubs (which are REALLY, REALLY hard to break into out here) perhaps on a cool station like Indie 103? Just wish all my demo reels weren't on the other side of the continent.  :-\

Yeah heaven forbid you step on a button or two while you're dancing the reel.  :P

I am organizing meds and playing messenger between scattered pockets of clarity while trying not to carry anything or anyone I should not.

Absolutely fucking nothing!
Crazy, I'm halfway to crazy
Suicide would waste me
Homicide would break me
Tongue tied and tied to the tongue
Tongue tied and tied to the tongue
Oh, is life as bad as dreams
I guess that's just the way it seems
