... but, fresh aloe will work wonders, too.
I hate being so clumsy like that. Sometimes it's a surprise.Yesterday, when I came from work I was so overstimmed that while I was rattling together a perfunctory snack/meal, I had an urgent itch on my arm and I clawed several layers of skin off, accidentally. It bled a lot.
Just hold it under the cold water longer than you think is necessary actually. Don't put butter or lard on it, thats a stupid myth that makes burns worse. Aloe is good. When it blisters, do not peel off the skin, and if the skin acidentally breaks, be sure to keep the wound very clean, and apply antibiotic regularly.
