/passes the honey and lemon.

i've crocheted stuff, whilst listening to various radio programmes i'd missed - satirical comedy, and a short story by fay weldon; replied to emails; mowed the lawn; re-potted various growing things (yippee!); dyed some t-shirts; tried to study finnish without having hysterics (not managing that very well); now about to make something to eat.

spent the best part of an hour and a half trying to retrieve my inbox, cos thunderbird had eaten it.   :grrr:

however, i did work out how to do it all by my own self.  yay, me!  :belly:

:plus: for using Thunderbird, it's awesome!

:-*

to be honest, i haven't really noticed why it's better than outlook express.  but then, i don't know enough about pooters to notice, if you see what i mean.

although... i DO notice the difference between firefox and Idiotic Excrement (i.e., IE - you have no idea how much i enjoyed typing that!  :LMAO: ), but then you'd have to be dead not to.

I think Thunderbird is better than Outlook Express because it doesnt automatically open an email just because you have the preview plane open, oh and it has a spam filter and works with gmail, which is how I get topic notifications from this place. (its set to check every 5mins)

Maybe you should get yourself a better mask to wear at work in places where the air is "thick."

I've had some health horrors from the building trade in the past. Some people don't seem the least bit affected, inhaling foreign substances, but some of us are injured.

Hope it gets better soon. It sucks when you can't breathe!

Monitors are those heavy old things you had before LCD screens arrived.

The geek has spoken.

You mean Flat Panel Display?

sounds just a little dodgy, to me.  ;)

They are all dodgy, but it's the old ones that you need to dodge. :P

Yeah, you want at least something that does 2ms.

Found an Asus 22" that does 2 ms. Looks good, and got great reviews, too.

you pooter geek, you. :-*

you're infecting me, you horrible geek.  :P

Next it's Linux for you. Then, Perl or PHP scripting, and an occasional Assembler session. 8)
