I replaced the pick-up switch and the volume pot in a "friend's" guitar and added a phase reversing switch between the two back pickups. We traded my labor for some of his old gear. (I also cleaned his guitar. It was pretty funky!)
I had inquired about some blown speaker baskets he had sitting around and he still had them. They are mine, now!
Four of these*, two work and two are dead, but very salvageable. I can do a complete re-cone for about thirty dollars each. Most likely, I will end up customizing them for open baffle use, instead of sound reinforcement use.
*These are Chinese JBL knock-offs, but, interestingly, many JBL components fit, which I already have on hand.
