Braved the busy town centre in the hope of finding something suitable for both my brother's and his girlfriend's birthdays.  :grrr:

Lucky that you managed to catch yourself- hope you're not too badly injured.

Just bruised up and sore.  In 21 years of working in attics only broke though a ceiling twice even then the holes were small.

Picked up my meds, looked at a yard sale and estate sale and stopped at a store.

Over slept, made lunch for everyone, went to see my brother and his family, just trying to figure out what I'm going to make for tea.

went to see an old friend, and mooched around his lovely old (small) city.  was defeated by the most expensive "cup-of-coffee-and-cake" affair - he had to finish my chocolate brownie, or i'd have been sick.  i may never eat again...

also investigated the site of an old (possibly templar) church (knocked down) and the tunnels under it, and part of a park where he's planning a promenade theatre thing - and i might be in it!

all in all, a very good day.  ;D
