he was my male finch.Which is even worse because he's left his partner behind and they're unhappy if they're not in pairs.

I think I'm gonna get her another one but should wait a while to make sure it wasn';t something contagious and she doesn't get ill.

Not sure where I will get one from though as they have them all in pairs in shops and stuff. maybe I could get two and they'd be happy as three. Will have to have a look online. I will ask calandale as well, he might know (he is a bird guy)

I only know flocks of zebra finches. More than ten in a cage. Don't know anyone with just two. Maybe you could put up an ad somewhere too. There must be more widowed finches in Manchester, looking for a mate.

maybe I should put her on okcupid :laugh:

I hope she's gonna be ok anywyay. I've read about them getting depressed on their own after their mate dies. Dont think there'smuch I can do though as I need to wait really to check she doesn't get ill.

Gave more driving lessons to my friend, and my cousins girlfriend. My cousins girlfriend might be able to learn, but I don't think my friend has a chance of learning. She can't drive at more than 20mph, and even at that speed she has difficulty keeping off the footpath.
The sad thing is, she thinks she's getting better, and she wants more lessons.  :laugh:
