Overslept, and that's about it.

That's OK, it's still morning there, right? 8)

Yup. I'm at work but there's not a lot to do just yet.

Sometimes a busier day is actually better! It's hard to get any momentum going when there's not much to do.

It's a happy little blue being, relaxing in a brown beanbag chair, listening to a fine stereo system! 8)

I assume the family was OK that had the fire? Was much of the house destroyed?

Everyone inside got out but a fireman broke his ankle.  There was not much left of the house the house closest to it was heavily damaged maybe a loss too.  A house about 50 feet away had the vinyl siding melt off and another had smoke damage.  It was near the beach where the houses are packed in tight it had an empty lot on one side or it would have been worse.  They think it was struck by lightning

^ That's too bad.  :-\ Glad everyone got out okay though.

* Fed the kids
* Got dressed and took monkeyboy to the doctor
* After monkeyboys appt I had a quick talk therapy session with the doctor. She's great.
* Dropped my prescription off at the drug store and was going to wait for it but monkeyboys energy spiked so we made  a quick exit
* Came home to an empty house, made lunch
* The ex dropped off monkeygirl (they had gone to the park) and then he left for the day. Now it's just the three of us all sitting bum to bum on a loveseat in the family room.

Fed and motivated girls to school, one early, one the usual time.
Made an appointment at the doctors.
Did some posting and pm-ing.
Made a handful of phonecalls, hoping to get some temporary preventive support for the 12 year old next year. Probably will happen. She fell between the proverbial cracks for non temporary support for now. Will go for that in March.
Raced around to get the first half of my mail done.
Tried to reach the Dad of my girls a few times, to remember him about tonight. He did not answer his phone, nor called back, so, he was not there.
Had girls for lunch, and chatted a short time with the Aussie bloke.
Raced around the next half of the mail, melting away half of my bum on the overheated saddle of my bicycle.
Raced to the doctors with the youngest. Waited for a long time there, There had gone something wrong in communication about the time I had to be there.
He thought she was OK, so that's good.
Gathered stuff for school camp for the youngest.
Made a quick dinner,
Went with both girls to the closure of the education program for kids who need a challenge. Was a proud Mum.
Got home, tried getting some hyper kids to bed.
Finished packing for the youngest.
And now I am here. Having a break.
The tasks of the day are not over yet, the day nearly is.
I can do upside down chocolate moo things!

Spent most of the day writing a business document but also found time to compile a new Linux kernel, explain computers and stuff to my mum, buying a used PC game and writing this.

Among other things.
