Fixed a tumble dryer belonging to mum's partner. It had a lot of lint clogging it up and one of the carbon bearing pads had broken, so there was a lot of friction and the motor was stalling when trying to spin the drum. I removed the broken pad and cleaned out most of the lint, and it's working now, but the machine is a piece of crap, so it might pack up again fairly soon. It has sheet steel panels and struts that are so thin they warped and dented while I was handling them, and the mechanical timer is the most sophisticated component in it.
