I took the kids to their Elementary School's Fall Festival. Their little sister won a cake for the second year in a row.

Fixed a bedframe/dresser thing for Mom. I say fixed, but I actually ended up rebuilding the whole damn thing. That fucker isn't coming apart.

I just gave Harley his first IV treatment at home and I rocked it. Got it on the first try.  Poor boy gave me his chirpy purr that he does when he's happy because he always feels better after the big dose of fluids. One hand held the needle in the place, and the other gave him him lots of pets and I smooched the top of his head more times than I could count.

I'll have to take pics of the set up I had. I hung the IV bag from a wire coat hanger and then hung that on the light over my kitche table. Instant animal hospital.

Went for a walk in a pleasant rural area. Met two gorgeous kelpie dogs. Collected some pieces of sandstone with beautifully-coloured layers in them, which I'm going to try to recreate in polymer clay. Ate a lovely pub lunch (chicken with avocado). Sussed out a flea-market location. Did some grocery shopping. Cooked a huge cauldron of ratatouille (with raspberry balsamic vinegar and fresh herbs!) and some beef rissoles. Got my behind wet while clearing leaves out of gutter in pouring rain. Wasted Spent quite a bit of time on here.
