Discovered several weaknesses in my boss.  This was not really my day, but it was even LESS his day.

... not sure that everyone saw him fail so miserably, but I DID  -   in SPADES!!!


It is obvious to me now how he knew enough about my troubles to call my "literal"  mind to the floor (in private, only, so I forgive him)  and create a kind of rapport with me.

I have a spazz for a boss!

It is now so fucking obvious!!




(I allow him to be different on many levels - he is the guy, I have earlier mentioned, who discovered his father murdered by multiple gunshots upon his return home from school at the age of seventeen - he had to do a tat to commemorate the event though. My scars are within, not evident.  ... but finding how spazzy he can be, as my own self, is a relief in some ways.)

Helped my son pack for a camping trip. Sounds harmless enough, doesn't it? It wasn't. I sure as hell hope he has a good enough time on the excursion to justify all the agony we went through. The two neurotypicals in the family cleared off for a couple of hours while the third and final repacking of the rucksack was taking place. I think that is what eventually saved us from bloodshed....

Stayed in bed despite the kids climbing all over me! Finally got up at 1300! Played with kids! Watching Sox-Rays and planning to take son for haircut. Will ask about color options for myself, but not getting a cut yet. Probably should keep some length if I'm going to color it. Looking forward to, but sad about the final five episodes of Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends. Great show by a brilliant artist. Gonna watch the Bruins tonight. All the while thinking of a friend.

I complained about the promo being used. Our store is supposed to be a family friendly store, but there was a song playing with the lyrics,
  "F U C K me!"

I know that's not the title ("If You Seek Amy"  actually), but when I first heard the lyrics on the teen radio station, it was very obvious to me what was being sung. When I heard it on our promo loop disk, I pointed it out to my boss, who said that he could not even understand the lyrics and no one else will be able to either. I pulled it out of the mechanical player and ripped it to a folder then opened EAC on my live disk (I use this to rip any new music that I hear that I want to hear again) edited the rip and set aside the section that gives the song away and looped that section.

After about four plays, he heard it, FINALLY!!  He agrees with me. We should NOT play that song in our store!

"Oh, but it's a hit song!!"

DUH!!
