I went to the De Young museum and checked out the art and renewed and upgraded my membership there. So that got me an extra membership card, which I gave to my aunt. She is a retired College Professor who taught me evolution back when I was 6 to 8 years old and took me to art and natural science museums a lot when I was a kid. So now if our schedules don't work so we can see the King Tut exhibit at the De Young and Legion of Honor together then she can get her own advance tickets ahead of the general public. The new membership also gives us reciprocal free entrance into other participating museums around the country. I am looking forward to the King Tut exhibits ( running from June 27 to next March, my bd is June 30 ) this summer, I don't have an obsession with ancient Egypt but I do think it will be interesting.
