nothing of any consequence whatsoever.  so what's new?
got up.  staggered about.

Stop stealing my life!

sorry.  would you like the scalded hand i managed to acquire this morning, too?

Is that a trick question?

no, and i apologise for any sarcasm/bitterness.

(ouch! hope you are okay and that it wasn't too bad).

it hurts like fuck, but i whacked it under the cold tap straight away, then applied lavender oil and aloe vera juice (plants in kitchen and bathroom for precisely that purpose) a couple of times.  it's blistered up a bit, still, sadly, but i've just put calendula ointment on it, which takes away the pain and soothes it.  i'll keep the lavender and aloe up for the rest of the day, too.

i hate being depressed - it always makes me clumsy, and/or injure myself.  :'(

That should fix it right up.

...  but, fresh aloe will work wonders, too.

I hate being so clumsy like that. Sometimes it's a surprise.

Yesterday, when I came from work I was so overstimmed that while I was rattling together a perfunctory snack/meal, I had an urgent itch on my arm and I clawed several layers of skin off, accidentally. It bled a lot.

Just hold it under the cold water longer than you think is necessary actually. Don't put butter or lard on it, thats a stupid myth that makes burns worse. Aloe is good. When it blisters, do not peel off the skin, and if the skin acidentally breaks, be sure to keep the wound very clean, and apply antibiotic regularly.

How did you acquire it? ???

sticking my hand above the new - and boiling - kettle spout.  :'(

i'm not used to the new spatial arrangement of "electric-kettle-on-worktop", as opposed to "gas-kettle-on-hob".

:(

thank you.

yeah, that's what i used.  i have two monster aloe plants, which keep sending up babies - comes in handy when someone has a surprise (to me) need for a pressie, cos i pot up a baby for them.

in fact, the big plants are so huge they have to lean against things, so i might compost them and make do with the fair-sized children.

i do that often, with the eczema.  :(  i get clumsy once or twice when i've got PMS, but only this often when i'm depressed.

thanks rage - yep, did all that.  i';ve only got a small blister, which is a bit i must've missed with the treatment - it's right on the edge of my hand/wrist, so awkward to get to.  most of it is just red: it isn't particularly inflamed (apart from the blister), and only stings very slightly when it touches something, so i think my ministrations worked.

so glad i've got something right at last.

No don't worry about it, you were hurt so you weren't on your best behaviour, I understand that and I wasn't offended.

But I'm glad you have seemed to have dealt with it quite well reguarding your treatment of the burn.

Spent most of the day cleaning my daughter's room. She'll have a birthday party today.

Worked more like watched people work and made sure they where doing it right.   More tiring than actual work for me
