I have done some washing and folded two fitted sheets. They are the worst things ever to fold.

have finally chosen one pattern to start from the knitting book i got for xmas which i love.  it's a huge jumper, stipes in different colours and different yarns and different stitches.  the one in the book is shades of brown, and lovely, but i'm doing mine in shades of green and purple, alternating, and will be divine.  ;)
