Began to study for a new department at work. One way or another the boss is going to get me more hours at work. He just needs to alot the hours to different departments. Geek squad and customer service can use some help, but I'm afraid of Customer service, because there could be some phone answering involved.

I am going to try my best to pass the geek tests, before I resort to trying the customer service positions.

Made a curved trowel to get all I can out of the buckets of firestop caulk  I am using as it's very expensive

Took Kitten into town to get a new school bag, got some food. swapped my dad's hard disk onto my box, copied the contents and burned it to DVD for him, and swapped it back. Next job will be reinstalling GRUB cos I had to overwrite it with another bootloader since half of GRUB was on the disk I had to remove.

Could life get more fascinating?

Drove to airport to pick up my husband from a business trip.  His trip went well.

We went out to lunch and almost made it out of there before our daughter had a meltdown.

Not enough.

I thought that I'd somehow managed to avoid the worst of the obsession that spectrumites are supposed to be notorious for. But hours dropped out of the universe today while I was holding a book about schizophrenia, and again earlier when I was kneeling in front of that box of old crap from elementary school. I don't even know what I was looking for, but apparently something.

Why couldn't hours drop out of the universe when I'm doing something more productive, like working on a painting or at the very least doing something for work?

Nothing that a sojourn into the event horizon of a black hole couldn't work out!  :P
