over here, an elevator is something you have on footwear, to make you taller/correct height discrepancies (e.g. from having one leg shorter than the other).

do you mean a lift, by any chance?

Ok, I haven't been to that side of Portland in a while!  Most of the places we go to are near the Old Port or the Civic center.

learned how to make a kid leather thong.  this may be my new job, as there's no teaching about, and i'm broke.  apparently, i'm going to be trained to make more complicated stuff, up to and including corsets.  :yikes:

(and i get to keep the practise stuff.   :eyebrows:  hear that, O Master?)

surely, my day is dull in comparison. spent the day installing windows xp and debian linux on a new hdd. the latter task is ongoing as i write this, so i'm writing this on the laptop.
