The height/weight scales are ridiculous. To be barely within the normal range I'd have to weigh 174 pounds. Even if I had zero fat on me, I'd have to lop off an arm to get down to that weight.

Muscle mass needs to be taken into consideration! :cbc:

It really does. I had a couple friends when I was in the military who always had to get waivers because they were way over the weight minimum for their height. Funny thing is neither had an ounce of fat on them, they were huge from lifting weights.

I would have thought that muscle mass would be taken into account. :-\

Muscle mass is *somewhat* taken into account.  Men also do tend to overestimate how much they "should" weigh.

By a lot of measures at my last physical, I was in very good health, including weight.  I was, however, also actually pretty sick.  I'm curious to see how my CBC comes up at my next physical.  Hopefully, still all good.
