Saved a fortune on candy this year. No one has ever came out here in all the years I can remember and this year was no exception.

Kid went to his friends house...he is "too old" for trick or treating, or so he told me :yawn:.

I tried bribing him...thought about trying to pass myself off as a kid (I'm short enough :thumbup:)...looked at the rain and ate a candy bar while remembering all that Halloween candy from past trick or treating.

We had no trick or treaters as usual.  Ours is a pretty "old" neighborhood.

It's not traditional to set off fireworks for Halloween.  Fourth of July and New Years Eve are the usual times here.

People don't set off fireworks for halloween here either. It's 5th November in a couple days though, so people have been setting off the occasional few. I keep hearing them now and then. Don't think we'll be having any fireworks this week though as we don';t have much money so my mum said we probably won;'t buy any. I like fireworks, although the cheap ones are usually not that great lol

The fucking supermarket assholes are trying to encourage that Halloween bullshit here so they can make more money. ::)

People are getting rather annoyed by it because hey, it's not an Australian holiday and because fuck you that's why.

We had two groups of kids go around the neighborhood, almost no-one gave them anything. We just didn't bother answering the door.

We had three lots of kids come to our door. I had some lollies from when it was my friend's birthday so we gave those to the kids. I wasn't going to eat the lollies anyway.

I went to the shops today and there were heaps of Christmas decorations for sale.
