Well with little scheduled work due to the storm I figured I could make up for my slacking in the posting category and spend some time here.
The sirens and public address system just sounded and had a message about mandatory evacuations not for me but the roads just on the other side of the marsh by the beach about a quarter mile away. Not much is happening at the moment just a bit windy, but they already canceled school Monday and Tuesday

  Thank you, I hope all our Northeastern members are battened down!
  My boss just told me that we are going to have a half-day at work tomorrow,
  serving the evening meal at lunchtime and giving the residents bag lunches
  to eat in their apartments.  That way we can get home before the storm blows in!

Hey Dudes surf up

Just got back from my errands.  The have closed all the highways in the state as of 1pm and some local roads are blocked but for now it's just the ones that flood even at a real high tide.  Looks like it will mainly be a big wind storm with rain  hear.  The big problem will be coastal flooding this is coinciding with spring tide and the way the storm is coming we are supposed to get 11 feet over the normal high tide mark.
