So basically any man and their dog can sound like they're singing almost perfectly due to audio software/hardware 'auto-correcting' off key notes. It's a wonder some audio people haven't tried to auto-tune contestant songs to see how much the technology can improve their singing. It would be surprising if one can turn a somewhat mediocre performance by an average joe into a professional sounding one with Auto-Tune. It would also diminish the talented merits of most of the popular singers who use it if it's found Auto-Tune makes a huge difference.
