Quote from: couldbecousin on April 18, 2016, 05:12:17 AM I really liked certain elememts of schizoid personality disorder. I could relate. Have read a number of adults autistics have been previously misdiagnosed as schizoid. It's easy to see how some of the criteria are similar and at the same time very different. One of the main differences in the aspect of personal relationships is schizoids have a lack of interest in relationships, while autistics do want relationships but are inept in acquiring/sustaining them. Have wondered if some adults are misdiagnosed because they can appear avoidant, when maybe over time they've stopped trying.
One of the more infamous incidents in the online Aspie community.Does such a thing as the online Aspie community exist anymore??
