Vegetarianism always pisses me off

I guess i shoulda pointed out that it is those that _let me know_ of all their sanctamoneous reasons - because that in itself implies that i am a bad person, even if they try to not make it sound that way, its the guilt trip theyre going for.

Vegetarians and non vegetarians alike btw. People can react so funny.
Me not being a vegetarian out of vehement principle annoys both some vegetarians, and some meat eaters.

Hunters seem to be the least judgemental about my choice of food, percentage wise.

Fox hunting is just outright fucking wrong. Its banned here, although the law isn't properly enforced. The pigs are too afraid of offending the 'rights' and 'culture' of the shit-eating toffs involved in such barbarism.

It always amazed me how ridiculously pissed people would get at me for being a vegetarian when I was one.  I never preached.  I never put my choices on other people.  Seemed to me I was always the one getting preached at.

It fucks with their carnism.  There is a delicate line between their dog and their food that requires intentional numbing of their feelings and their senses in order to continue with the practice.  When they run into people who have abandoned that distinction it pisses them off because it flies in the face of their carefully constructed fiction.  I had a good friend who stopped talking to me when I quit smoking - same thing.

Right.  Politically correct really just means that which is in the absence of being politically incorrect.  It's politically incorrect to call someone a fag or a nigger, so I don't do so.  My choosing not to use politically incorrect language doesn't automatically make me preachy, as I can't think of a single time I have ever made a speech about the use of derogatory terminology.
