Lots of good suggestions. Definitely start adding more interesting things to your diet. If you're making yourself really good solid meals, then you don't feel such a strong pull for sugar. I don't deny myself anything. I feel it sets one up for failure if you do, but things in moderation are key. My vice is 1 can of coke a day. I like my coke, it's my caffeine/sugar boost for the day so I don't feel guilty about having it. That's balanced out with the fact that I drink a lot of water.
Try new things. new fruits, veggies and dip, pita bread with salsa (Salsa does have a lot of sugar, but it's loaded with other good things too).
