I think the author went for pure shock value, in this case, expecting that Christians would be offended. I can't imagine anyone except a fundie to even bother, though.

Jesus aside, the drawings are excellent. Also notice the shadows, the clothes, the cows(!) the motorcycle, its all drawn quite skillfully :D
