No, this was my maternal grandfather and his eyes were dark brown since he had more Cherokee in him than I do.  My maternal grandmother's eyes were brown too and my mom's eyes were hazel but more brownish.  My younger brother's eyes are hazel too but a bit more greenish, and my older brother's eyes were dark blue with starbursts.

My dad's eyes were bluish green and his dad's (my paternal grandfather's) eyes were blue.  My paternal grandmother died when I was three weeks old, so I don't remember her eye color.

I wonder why Swedish has special forms for paternal and maternal relatives. Not even Latin had that, and Norwegian and Danish don't either. Old German had to some degree, though.

I'm craving a thorough and intense massage.
Will be painful, that's OK. It will be more than that.

(Tried self deep tissue massaging with a tiny rubber ball and the wall already, I can do the intense pin-pointing, but not the environmental warming that I want to go with that. )
