Damnit I needed all that after the damn dog on a gravestone. Fricking emo bombs in the middle of a humour thread.
I have sort of commandeered this thread since no one was using it for a year or so, when I broke my arm and had too much time to just look for entertainment.
I think of it as a place to find a smile, not so much a LOL.
Once you get past the emo bomb, as you call it, a smile will build in you inside from the warmth you will feel owing to the unexplainable love for that stranger's dog, even more than you did before you analized the pic.
BTW, it touched me too and I am fairly certain it's fake. Probably just an over heated dog has found a cooler place to relax for a minute, but that notion takes away from the thoughts that faith can instill.
