The bottle says it is ginger-ale...but I am inclined to believe it is carbonated, artificially flavoured syrup with caramel colour.

Buy some proper ginger syrup or make your own, and ad soda water. Tastes so much better. Found a shop that has gingersyrup with only ginger, water and sugar in it. Lots of brands have other shit in it too. This one hasn't. It is awesome, and with soda water it is great ginger-ale.

That sounds like an awesome idea! I wonder if I could make my own syrup...chop up some ginger & boil in water and sugar... :) Thanks for the recipe Hyke!
